While there are a few kinks here and there we still need to work out and complete, the site is officially open and members are free to create characters and begin their journeys. With this, naturally, comes a give away of the sorts for all of the new members. What can you earn, you may ask? Well, we'll tell you!

RANK ONE !

Rank One is a rank each member can receive upon joining. One of things members can receive upon joining is 2,500 Poke for their character once it has been accepted. Members also have a chance to earn an extra 500 Poke for every new member that joins that they've referred to the site that has had their first character accepted (note that there is a place to fill out how you found the site on the character app).

New characters are also likely to receive extra items from the person they receive their starter from, based on their class and who they are getting their starter from. Items will depend on the staff member modding the thread, and how well you're roleplaying is during the thread.

RANK TWO !

Rank Two gives members more choice, but is also more restricted on what members get. In this rank, members will get three options, and once they chose this option, there is no going back; and you cannot use another character to claim more.

1.) Members can choose between a Pokemon or egg, to start with a team of three Pokemon (one of which is at it's second stage), or a choice of five items of their choice (these items will exclude rare or hard to find items, such as the Master Ball and Mega Stones, since these items will appear later on in the roleplay). The Pokemon received can either be a common or uncommon Pokemon that is shiny, or anything else that is not shiny. These Pokemon will be given one egg move or the chance to have a hidden ability. Members can choose the gender and personality of this Pokemon.

2.) Members can choose to start with three Pokemon rather than go to the lab to get their starter. Note that these Pokemon can be no stronger than level 10, and if one of the Pokemon can evolve before that, they are allowed to evolve it so long as they have the obvious means to do so beforehand (i.e. if a Pokemon evolves via happiness, they should have had that Pokemon long enough for it to grow attached and actually like the person). Note that rare Pokemon cannot be chosen in this, and egg moves and hidden abilities are not an option.

3.) Members can claim one of the Gym Leaders or Elite Four slots. Note that while we will allow members to create new characters of their own for Gyms that already have an NPC running the gym, we'd like members to keep to ideas staff created for the NPCs; as well as, while Gym Leaders and Elite Four members will be allowed to have nine Pokemon in total, some of them will have to be of reasonable level for the Gym or Elite Four rank they belong to (i.e. if a member claims the first Gym Leader, at least two to three Pokemon should be of a reasonable level for Trainers to battle against), and those Pokemon will have a level cap on them (meaning they can't level up past a certain level to keep things fair). Of course, these characters can go out and catch more Pokemon later on, and switch their battling team around (so long as the type stays the same). On that note, much like the games and anime, Gym Leaders and Elite Four members MUST have their Gym/E4 teams be one type (there can be dual types, so long as one of the Pokemon's types match's the Gym's preference).

**NOTE: Members are currently not allowed to claim this one, unless thier character has been accepted and has finished their starter thread.

CLAIMING !

Money will generally be given off the bat once someone's first character is accepted. If you have another character you'd like to give that money to, or want to split that money between two characters, please let a staff member know so they can change the Poke accordingly. If a member you referred gets their character accepted and you don't get your Poke, feel free to message RABDOM with the name of the person's character, and we'll get you that Poke as soon as possible.

If you're wanting to receive your rank two prizes, first make sure your character has been accepted and that the link for their bio and pc are in that account's signature. Second, reply to this post with what you want/are planning to get. You are allowed to move what you've earned to another account, as each member only gets to claim this once, make sure to do so; once it's been moved to that account, however, you can't change it anywhere else.
