The Gym itself sits atop the beach, it's waves usually washing away the lines meant for the beach-side battle arena. The Gym is quite obvious, as it is large; half of it is meant to be a beach side resort for those visiting the region. An indoor arena can be found for Gym Battles when the weather isn't nice; whenever it's free, residence use it for Pokemon battles. Trainers coming to battle the gym are allowed to use the indoor arena to train with various people there until they're ready to get their first gym badge.

Masika Johnson, Gym Leader and Hotel Manager, can usually be found in her study or teaching young trainers how to properly handle a Pokemon battle. Whenever she is too busy, her twin brother, Kai, will often take in Pokemon battles for the gym.
