She was excited to finally be on her way to get her starter pokemon but she still felt a little hesitation, but that soon faded away when the lab came into view. Her worries melted away at the various pokemon in the fields around the lab. Perhaps one of them could be her starter, a thrilling thought that put an added bit of oomph! into her step. Heading through the lab doors, Akiko was a little put off to see no one in the waiting room. Checking her watch she felt out of place but found herself a chair to sit in order to wait. Considering it was close to noon she figured they ought to be eating their lunch. A meal Akiko hadn't considered for herself, being too excited to make it to the lab. A Sylveon rested on the windowsill of the lab, looking toward the strange girl who just walked in. The pokemon went and poked the lab assistant, and the assistant turned around. "Oh hello.. The puurloin had a familar appeal, her parents had one back at home. However, she didn't think herself the type to train one. Further more the longer she looked at each pokemon presented to her, the less she felt prepared for her adventure. None of the pokemon presented to her peaked her interested that was until she noticed the poochyena. She was the active type and seemed similar to her. Eager to chase a shared dream.
