James usually wasn't the one to go hunting around in ruins; it could be considered mildly disrespectful, not to mention there were always varying types of creepy Pokemon lurking around waiting to pull a few tricks or scares here and there. And James usually wasn't the welcoming type when it came to tricks and scares. Yet here the red head was, exploring the outside and immediate inside of an abandon ruin. That was purely asking for trouble, honestly, though his curiosity got the better of him.

"Make sure to stay close," the scientist warned Faxel, who was a mere feet away and poking at all of the intricate designs on the walls, "We don't know what kind of traps might be hidden around here."

<"Trap?"> asked Faxel, withdrawing his hand as if he had just been burned and then taking a second glance on the wall.

James walked on, unaware of the now unnerved Pokemon, as he looked over more the the architecture around him. Maybe they could find some clues as to who lived here before, and why they had left it abandon like this. History had always fascinated James, no matter how creepy it tended to get over time. Maybe their venture would actually lead to something worth while.

Or maybe it would lead to their deaths. It seemed anything was plausible at the moment.
