when it's time to live and let die and you can't get another try It was a dreary day in the plains; grey clouds hung overhead, with brown grass crunching beneath their feet as they walked some long-forgotten path. Pokemon seemed so few and far between, though Lillian knew better; a Pokemon could be hiding anywhere. Speaking of which --"I really wish you would keep in sight," Lillian chided to seemingly no one. A few seconds after she passed a large boulder, however, the grass rustled and a green Pokemon leap from the tall grass onto the craggy surface. "Tree Treecko?" asked the small grass type as he stood upright, hands going to his hips."I know," Lillian said with a sigh, "I just worry about you being stepped on or something."She could hear the little Pokemon scoff behind her before the grass crunched with the Treecko hitting the Earth -- though he thankfully seemed to be following close behind her. While she knew Zeid could take care of himself -- he could be a hard headed and over confident in his abilities at times -- she still couldn't help but worry. Which was brought her to Kifuku Way.
Well, the prospect of capturing a Khangaskhan primarily drew her here. Her other reason was to hopefully catch more Pokemon so Zeid wouldn't have to worry as much. Granted, he didn't seem to enjoy being out here in the first place, though did not complain about the obvious chill in the air. Lillian had offered to let him stay in his Pokeball, though, as she had expected, he refused; which left the two tromping quietly through the plains on Kifuku Way in search of more Pokemon. That is, if they weren't all in hiding. looking for:

Thankfully, it didn't look like they were alone -- well, too alone, anyhow. From the grass further up the path, a small Pokemon emerged from it, looking confused and a little distraught.

The Pokemon waddled further out onto the path, shivering slightly. It looked as through he were lost. It took a moment before the Pokemon noticed that he wasn't alone, either. The little Seedot jumped then as he noticed the girl and her Pokemon, and looked around frantically before back to the trainer. He seemed to be waiting to see what the girl might decide to do.

when it's time to live and let die and you can't get another try Zeid was the first one to notice the Seedot -- always alert, he was -- and stopped, before becoming obviously defensive as the Seedot noticed them as well.
"Tree Treecko!" said Zeid, jumping in front of his trainer and causing her to jump in the process. "Zeid, what are you -- oh!" Lillian jumped as she, too, noticed the frightened Seedot ahead of them. She recognized them from the abundant amount found back home -- as well as having a soft spot for them, since she owned a Shiftry. It looked scared, though, and a long way from home. They usually stayed up in trees unless they were caught or ready to evolve, so what was one doing wandering around on the ground so frightened? "Zeid, it's okay," she told her companion, who gave her an annoyed look; as if the other Pokemon were actually dangerous. "I think it's just scared." The blue haired trainer them took a cautious step towards the weary Pokemon, kneeling down so she wouldn't look as scary. "Well you seem an awfully long way from home," Lillian spoke softly to the Seedot, though there was a hint of a chuckle in her voice as she did so. "It's okay, we won't hurt you. We just want to help!" "Treecko," Zeid muttered, crossing his arms in annoyance although doing little to stop his trainer. The Seedot probably couldn't do much anyway. looking for:

A WILD SEEDOT APPEARED !! Male | Lvl 6 | Chlorophyll Bide | Harden The Seedot was just as startled as the trainer was; jumping back, the Seedot proceeded to harden as it seemed to wait for the Treecko to attack it. Granted, the little guy seemed scared out of his mind, but there was no point in running if they were faster than he was (which they likely were, considering he lived in a tree most of his life).
However, the Seedot found himself surprised when the girl was kneeling down in front of him, talking to him softly. He couldn't help but turn and blink, his 'head' tilted to one side for a moment before nodding at her comment. You'd think he'd be able to stay near his tree, considering there weren't very many trees out here to begin with. But it's also hard to get back up when the lowest branch is still several feet above you. And the help would be nice...

Zeid made an annoyed sound from behind the trainer as the Seedot accepted their help. Zeid didn't seem the one to trust new Pokemon or people that often, but Lillian assumed that a Seedot wouldn't be much to worry about. At least, not this far away from their natural habitat.
"That's great!" Lillian said, jumping to her feet and even making Zeid jump a tad. "We'll find your home, no worries! We just -- need a place to start. Hm."
Lillian took a look around at the grassy plains, a few trees sitting here and there. There might have been a few clusters to look through -- a better place for a small Pokemon like Seedot to hide from flying type Pokemon.
"Treecko Tree!" Zeid said, tugging at his trainer's pants before heading in the direction of one of the nearby trees. It was obvious he didn't want to help out the Seedot, and wanted to get it over with quickly.
"Hey, that sounds like a good idea," Lillian agreeed, looking down to the Seedot. "We'll start there! Let's go."

Male | Lvl 6 | Chlorophyll Bide | Harden With a happy cry, the Seedot readily began to follow the trainer on their venture -- or at least, to start looking for his home in the area. Not to mention, he was less likely to get snatched up by bird-type Pokemon while wandering around here out in the open. Though there was always other threats to look out for while moving around on foot.
Speaking of which, as the trio made their way to their first destination, some grass from up ahead of them began to rustle and move. A small Pokemon emerged, blocking their path and looking a little annoyed at running upon a trainer and two Pokemon.

Lillian gave a half gasp as the female Nidoran emerged out from the brush, obviously quite angry as she attacked instantly and with very little warning. Thankfully, Ze seemed more on his toes than she did -- the grass type lunging forward and shoving the Seedot to one side as the female Nidoran scratched at his side. Another gasp -- this time a worried one -- escaped Lillian.
"Oh no! Zeid, use leer, then pound!"
The grass type, righting himself after almost being knocked over by the scratch, leered rather angrily at the poison type before leaping up and smashing his tail back down at the wild Pokemon.

Male | Lvl 6 | Chlorophyll Bide | Harden The Seedot was quick to take shelter behind Lillian as a battle ensued. The female Nidoran was slammed to the ground by the sudden pound from the Treecko, but was not the one to give up lightly. In fact, she seemed even more angered than she had been as she wobbled to her feet, giving the Treecko a growl as she righted herself.
She then lurched forward for another scratch; and again frightened, the Seedot hardened his defenses.
