FARMS ! Farms are very much a necessity -- from growing food to raising Pokemon, they do a lot for us at NES. In this thread, you'll find out how to receive a farm and it;s functions here on NES. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask RABDOM .
As farms on this site are more often aligned with Pokemon breeding and to make it easier for you folks instead of having to jump around everywhere looking for links, you can find more about Pokemon Breeding here.

CLAIMING & CREATION !
When claiming a farm, breeders are -- so far -- the only class to have farms available to them at the beginning, free of charge. All other classes must purchase theirs. Note that your character's farm probably won't be humongous when you first create it, and will have varying necessities depending on what your character plans to use it for.
In order to claim/purchase a farm, create a post in this board with the correct formatting. This should include where the farm will be located, what it's being used for, what it looks like, etc.
SET UP ! Once the board for your character's farm has been created, it's time to set everything up! While you're basically free to set everything up how you choose, you are expected to have at least one thread staff can stick to the top of the board, with more information on your character's farm (mostly just prices for breeding, plants or what have you, depending on what your character does), as well as what you have on your farm (if your character is a breeder, list some of the Pokemon from their stock they're willing to use; if they raise berries, list what types and when others can buy them, etc).
How it's set up overall is your choice; just make sure to include all of the important things.

FARMS & ODDITY ! When it comes to farms, characters are allowed to choose from various professions regarding what they raise and do overall in their farm. While farmers do use their farms for a various assortment of things, there's generally one or two major things farmers will focus on. The majority of farms you will find will likely center around breeding and raising Pokemon, but there are many other types your character can work towards instead! Read below to understand the varying types of farms you can find here on NES. If you think there's not something on here that should be, feel free to message RABDOM or post here.
BREEDING & DAYCARE SERVICES ! The most common type of farm you'll find are ones centered around breeding and raising Pokemon. While all members still need to follow site rules, many farms will having their own varying rules and regulations regarding breeding Pokemon and raising your Pokemon while you are away, as well as various prices. Breeders might also have a favorite type of Pokemon they focus on, or only accept certain types on their farm.
BERRIES ! Many characters can raise berries (which would be kept under their main thread and would grow per post of said character instead of per hour; meaning each roleplay post the person creates equals one more hour that has passed for the berry to grow) to sell or create Poke'blocks for contests with.
MILK & PRODUCE ! Many characters might also raise Pokemon such as Milktank for milk, Buffolant and Tauros for meat, Rapidash for plowing fields, and so much more!
